Gillispie's ex-girlfriend transferring to Illinois

The troubles continue for University of Kentucky first-year coach Billy Gillispie. Freshman Emily Grayson informed Gillispie she was transferring to the University of Illinois after the two suffered what she termed an "ugly but somewhat consentual" breakup. UK prevented the 5'4", 130-pound blonde from transferring to Louisville or any SEC school.

"We met after Midnight Madness and everything seemed to be going along great," said Grayson, who's concerned her "Introduction to Sleeping Your Way to the Top" course credit won't transfer with her to Illinois. "But with Billy 8-9 now, it's not really cool to be around him anymore. I really don't like reading death threats on my 'facebook' wall."

Grayson said she was sold on Illinois after visiting the campus and watching the Illini football team get "blown" out in the Rose Bowl.

"I was looking for a good, natural fit, and I think Illinois is the perfect place for me. The girls aren't quite as hot in Champaign as in Lexington so I'll be able to stand out a lot more. Unfortunately I hear Bruce Weber is married and doesn't like being restrained while intoxicated in hotel pools."

Gillispie said he was disappointed Grayson chose to leave, but said, "I wish her the best in whomever she chooses to do."
