Warner is finally happy his wife is getting some good attention, even if it does involve being confused with a cocky, overrated high school football player.
Kurt Warner's wife mistaken for Jimmy Clausen
Kurt Warner thought his visit back to the Super Bowl would recreate fond memories of his former self at his best. The 1999 MVP performance. The 73-yard touchdown completion to Isaac Bruce. The game-ending tackle at the 1-yard line. Most of the attention instead has turned to Warner’s wife Brenda, who has accompanied him throughout Miami and has an uncanny resemblance to Notre Dame prized recruit Jimmy Clausen. Hundreds of Irish fans, in Miami because they thought their beloved team was selected to play in the Super Bowl, have flocked to the self-proclaimed grocery bagger seeking his wife’s autograph.

Jimmy Clausen or Brenda Warner?
“Don’t let the short, spiky blond hair and masculinity fool you,” said Warner, who likely won’t catch fellow teammate and impregnator Matt Leinart staring at his wife. “I’ve had too many kids for that to be Jimmy Clausen.”
Notre Dame fans seemed unaware that “Jimmy Clausen” was really Brenda Warner, and were simply content they no longer had to deal with an Irish quarterback caught up with his looks rather than his game.
“I really don't know why Jimmy was with Kurt, but it’s awesome,” said Notre Dame fan Dan Belichow, who saw Clausen get turned away at a South Bend bar after the Irish’s Blue-Gold spring game. “My only guess is he’s really trying to immerse himself in the quarterback position. There’s really no one better to learn from than Mr. I-came-from-nothing-but-was-Super-Bowl-MVP-thanks-to-God himself, Kurt Warner.”
